All projects include website design, professional photography within Nottingham, email setup, domain and hosting guidance. Ongoing hosting and domain renewal costs may apply. Projects outside Nottingham are welcome. Travel expenses quoted separately. Optional care plan from £35 per month, includes hosting management, security updates and a monthly performance check.
Food, menu and product photography is available as a separate commission. Ask about it when you start a conversation.

Not always, but we recommend it. Photography is included in most of our presence packages because it is one of the biggest factors in how a business is perceived online. If you already have strong imagery we can work with what you have.

Yes. We work with existing sites as well as building from scratch. If your current site needs updating rather than replacing, we can assess what is worth keeping and what needs changing.

Yes. Setting up or optimising a Google Business profile is included in multi-page projects and can be added to any package. It is one of the most valuable things a local business can do for its visibility.

We provide copywriting guidance and structure on every project. For clients who need more support we develop the copy together based on your answers to a set of questions. You know your business. We help you say it clearly.

Domain setup and hosting guidance is included in every project. We remain available after launch to make adjustments, answer questions and review performance. We do not disappear once the site goes live.

A single-page site can be completed in one to two weeks once we have your content and photography. Multi-page projects typically take three to four weeks. Timelines depend on how quickly we can gather what we need from you.

Modus Media is founder-led and lean by design. No account managers, no agency overhead. That efficiency is passed directly to you, and so is the focus. Every project is built intentionally for independent businesses, not adapted from something designed for someone else.

I started Modus Media because I kept seeing the same thing, businesses across Nottingham and the East Midlands doing great work, represented by websites and photography that did not come close to reflecting that work.
My background is in photography and graphic design. I have been building websites alongside my photography studio for eighteen years, and for a long time people kept asking me to help with theirs. It became clear this deserved a studio of its own and Modus Media was built to give that work a dedicated focus.
